The MEA and ACEC-Ontario have jointly crafted a standard form of agreement for use between a municipality and a consulting engineering firm for the provision of professional consulting engineering services. This recorded webinar is intended to provide an overview of the key terms and conditions in the Agreement, and provide some history regarding its development and use. First developed in the 1980s, the Agreement has been updated over the years to remain current and reflective of the issues and regulatory requirements of the day. The Agreement appropriately balances the interests of the client municipality and the consulting engineer service provider, and is recommended for use on a broad range of project types.
