Infrastructure is the backbone of Ontario’s prosperity, and ensuring its long-term sustainability is at the heart of the Infrastructure Policy Council’s (IPC) mission. ACEC-Ontario is proud to share the news of its own Doug DeRabbie’s, Director, Government and Stakeholder Relations, appointment to the IPC in the role of Co-Chair.  The Infrastructure Policy Council leads advocacy efforts to secure sustainable infrastructure funding, streamline regulatory processes, and support innovative solutions that drive long-term economic stability.

“The Ontario Chamber’s Infrastructure Policy Council has consistently advocated for public and private investment in critical infrastructure,” said DeRabbie. “I look forward to collaborating with the Council to champion strategic action that will bolster Ontario’s economy, create jobs, and position the province for sustainable success.”

“Ontario’s infrastructure is the foundation upon which our communities thrive. The work of consulting engineering firms is essential in shaping the built environment, not just for today, but for generations to come. We are pleased that one of ACEC-Ontario’s own, Doug DeRabbie, will continue to steer policies that make a real difference,” said Andrew Hurd, Executive Director, ACEC-Ontario. “With Doug DeRabbie on board, the IPC’s collective expertise and leadership will further lasting impacts for communities across the province.”
