Today, ACEC-Ontario submitted its recommendations on what the consulting engineering industry would like to see in the 2024 Budget.
These 12 recommendations would help the Ontario government:
- Deliver more projects on-time and on-budget;
- Reduce repair costs and keep the economy moving forward;
- Ensure a strong, diverse workforce capable of meeting challenges; and,
- Protect the public interest.
ACEC-Ontario’s recommendations have been formally submitted to the Ministry of Finance and the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs as part of their respective pre-budget consultations.
The submission will also be shared with MPPs, political staff, stakeholders, and the media.
