A message to you as we look ahead together,
The strength of ACEC-Ontario lies in the innovation and expertise of our member firms. Having volunteered with this association for more than a decade, I have seen firsthand the dedication of members and the impact of our work on communities across Ontario. Stepping into the role of Chair, I am energized by the opportunity to elevate our industry’s collective voice.

2025-2026 Chair, ACEC-Ontario
Just five years ago, our industry — like the rest of the world — was confronted with the sudden and unforeseen challenge of COVID-19. We adapted quickly, pivoting almost daily to respond to new realities with the best information available. By embracing change, our industry not only survived but thrived during and following the pandemic. Today, some of the most pressing challenges ahead are not hidden from view, but we still need to be prepared to turn the disruptions into possibilities. We can see rapid transformation coming, from international and environmental pressures to technological advancements and the ethical considerations that come with it. We have the chance to prepare, to align as a community, and to approach the future with intention.
With increasing complexity in our industry, I believe strongly that ACEC-Ontario must continue to serve as a catalyst for growth, collaboration, and advocacy — empowering member firms to succeed in the future by searching for prospects amidst change. This is our moment to lead with confidence, and to shape the future of consulting engineering for the benefit of Ontario’s communities and beyond. Our work as consulting engineers is essential to building resilient, sustainable, and thriving communities.
It is precisely this call to action that makes the timing of our continued evolution so significant. As we conclude the celebrations of ACEC-Ontario’s 50th anniversary, we stand at a pivotal moment in the Association’s history, as this year marks the launch of our next strategic planning cycle. Together, we will build on the remarkable achievements of the past while embracing new ideas, new technologies, and new approaches to how the industry creates impact, both locally and globally.
I look forward to working closely with our volunteers, staff, and partners to strengthen the Association, expand our advocacy efforts, foster alliances, and equip our industry to embrace the opportunities ahead.
Thank you for your continued engagement and commitment. Collectively, we will navigate this moment with creativity and purpose, ensuring ACEC-Ontario remains a powerful voice for Ontario’s consulting engineering community.
