Join ACEC-Ontario and the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) as they present the latest on on-site and excess soil management. Registration closes on June 25th at 9 AM.
On April 23, 2024, MECP made amendments to O. Reg. 406/19, the On- Site and Excess Soil Management regulation, and the Rules for Soil Management and Excess Soil Quality Standards document. These amendments are now in effect. They provide flexibility and clarity on a number of specific matters, including the rules associated with interim storage sites, sampling requirements in specific circumstances, reuse of salt-impacted soil, hauling record revisions and storage near waterbodies.
