Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Excellence Program

Keeping your team and customers safe at work is good for business. The WSIB’s Health and Safety Excellence program helps you improve safety in your workplace, whether you’re just getting started or want to build on safety practices you already have in place. Joining the program can also boost your bottom line by earning you rebates on your WSIB premiums.

This program will help you build a road map that allows you to:

• Create an empowered workforce and a safer workplace – over 4,500 Ontario firms employing more than 1 million Ontario workers have become members since its inception!
• Improve your workplace safety culture – 82% of existing members reported a positive experience participating in the program.
• Earn rebates – over 70 MILLION DOLLARS in rebates have been earned by members since the program’s inception in 2019.

Furthermore, find out how eligible businesses with less than 99 employees can earn double their rebates plus an additional $1,000 by having their action plan approved in 2024 and then completed in 2025.

Join us to hear from guest speaker Adrian Varao, Employer Health and Safety Services Consultant at the WSIB. Adrian has been in the health and safety field in the public and private sectors for over 20 years.
