On March 31, ACEC‑Ontario members gathered at Queen’s Park for a highly successful day of advocacy, dialogue, and relationship‑building with provincial decision‑makers.
Nearly 50 volunteer delegates participated, holding approximately 40 meetings with Members of Provincial Parliament, Premier’s Office staff, and key government and sector stakeholders. These conversations focused on the issues shaping the future of consulting engineering in Ontario—including modernizing procurement practices, strengthening workforce capacity, expanding market access, and supporting the efficient and competitive delivery of infrastructure projects across the province.
Queen’s Park Day would not be possible without the commitment of our dedicated volunteers. We extend our sincere thanks to all delegates who took time from their busy schedules to lend their expertise and voice in representing Ontario’s consulting engineering sector with professionalism and pride.
We also gratefully acknowledge the firms that supported their employees’ participation, whose leadership and investment in advocacy help ensure our industry is understood, valued, and championed where it matters most.
ACEC‑Ontario thanks the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Canada (ACEC‑Canada) for its support through the Centennial Sponsorship Fund, which contributed to the success of this important engagement opportunity.

The photos below capture moments from the day and reflect the collective effort, collaboration, and dedication that continue to strengthen Ontario’s ability to build.
