Behind the Scenes of Precast: Ottawa MCON Plant Tour with CCPPA & ACEC-Ontario

Expand your engineering network and connect with both your local concrete pipe and precast experts, as well as consulting engineering colleagues, through an engaging plant tour experience. The Canadian Concrete Pipe & Precast Association (CCPPA), in collaboration with ACEC-Ontario, is proud to offer this MCON facility tour to ACEC-Ontario members.

These guided tours are led by the facility’s own staff and management personnel, who are eager to share their knowledge with attendees from across the industry. Participants will gain valuable insight into facility operations, explore best practices in concrete pipe and precast construction, and engage with peers from both producer and consulting communities—bringing back practical knowledge and strengthened connections to their organizations.

Lunch will be provided.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, including:

• Steel-toe footwear
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
• Safety vest

PPE items (hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest) may be available to borrow at the precast facility, subject to availability.

Participants must remain with the touring group at all times and be mindful of moving equipment.

This event may count toward your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, depending on your discipline.
