The ACEC-Ontario Simcoe Chapter invites you to their Annual General Meeting (AGM), an opportunity to connect with fellow members, hear from two engaging speakers, and help shape the future of our chapter.

Michael Simons, P.Eng. – Technical Director, Surface Tech
Presentation: An Introduction to Aramid Reinforced Composite Asphalt (ARCA)
With over 30 years of experience in transportation and civil engineering, Michael will share insights into the development and application of ARCA technology, which enhances asphalt pavement performance in high-stress environments. Learn how this innovative material is reshaping road infrastructure across Canada and why it’s becoming a go-to solution for demanding pavement designs.
Tyler Corcoran, P.Eng – Chapter Member, Decast
Presentation: Underground SWM Facilities
Tyler will discuss underground stormwater management facilities and their growing use throughout various municipalities in Ontario. Learn about how tanks can be used and benefit communities, the strengths and weaknesses of different types of systems and the approach some municipalities are taking.
